BREWARRINA

In December 2013 the very first ever Adventist baptisms took place in Brewarrina of two amazing Aboriginal Elders. They have a burden for the people in their community to come to know the Jesus they have come to love and serve. With the assistance of a very small number of Adventists from nearby communities a new church plant has begun meeting in this town. 30 to 70 non-Adventist people from the community are coming to worship each week.

A team fly out once each month to work with this new church plant. Working closely with the pastoral team, Pr Keith Stockwell and his wife Danuta, they are helping to run programs, train, disciple and mentor local leaders to serve in their community.

COONAMBLE

A small church plant has recently started meeting at Coonamble. Each month a team fly to this small community to run a Kid’s Church program with the local leaders, catering for the children and teens.

NARRABRI

Each month a team of students from Avondale College fly to Narrabri Church. They assist the local congregation by running the church program, resourcing leaders and ministering to the children.

Throughout the year they also work with the local church running various activities connecting the church and the community.
